   Received My g4 the 18th June and has soon has I opened the box I was thrilled by the packaging (neat and really nice). I know that packaging means nothing but I like my things neatly package ). Moving on. I have a Bell star helmet and I had a bit of tweaking to do to use the clamp and not the “sticker” to install the g4. In fact I had to remove half the bushing on the piece that insert between the outside shell and the inside protection of the helmet.

   Once installed, I tried to upgrade the firmware but I could’nt because the upgrade software is not compatible with the 64 bits version of windows vista or W7 for now . Problem that they’ll soon fix (so they tell).

   So today (2010-06-18) I’ve tried the radio fonction and it worked better then I expected. But it works better if you’re on a road on flat ground than on a road line by forest and hills. The sound was audible at speed of 60 mph or 100 kph wich is good for me.

   For the other uses (bluethoot connection, mp3, intercom) I didn’t try them but as soon has I will I’ll either edit this comment or make a new one.

   For now, I’m satisfy with the g4 scala rider.

   I was looking for Motorcycle communication without wires, able to talk rider to passenger, bike to bike, Bluetooth to GPS and cellphone and FM from XM SAT radio. G4 power set does it all even at 100 klm. Great product at a great price!

   Awesome, take phone calls, listen to stereo, talk to other riders 1 mile away, crazy.

   Total waste of money, no tech support worth mentioning & an easy way to ruin a good ride.

   Wait for the “G6 or 7″

   Maybe they will get it right by then.
